My girls are both still young puppies (7 months and 3 months) so each has her own Xpen with food, water, potty pad and safe toys for when I am not home or unable to supervise. One pen is in the kitchen and one is in the living room but both are in eyesight of each other's pens. I still don't pen them together because of their size difference and age. So far it has worked out well. I know there will probably be a day when one or the other greets me at the door but by then I hope they will be mature enough to have more freedom when I am gone. When I am home they have free reign of the house unless I am trying to clean the floors!! |
