Toby had low sugar and high white blood cell count. Thats about it. I would like you to read this forum about this awful disease. I found it doing research after reading your posts.

I read on there many postings on there where people opted not to do surgery and their dogs lived for over 2 years. Some that did the surgery died after 6 months.

From the reads you'll see that people are giving their dog prednisone everyday. (I was giving Toby a 1/2 pill every other day, now its upped to every day)
Diet was huge. 4-5 meals a day.
Keep corn syrup around in case of seizure. Rub on gums. Should end the seizure quickly.

Hopefully this will help. I had the vet do a complete blood work on Toby Monday. I'm sure he would have seen it in his blood. But just in case I left a message with him to call me back.
