I'm not sure how long you could wait, but I probably would make an appt. for as soon as I could get in. If the gunk were red-tinged (from red yeast bacteria, or even from beet pulp as an ingredient in their food) or clear, I wouldn't be worried....but since you say it is yellow'ish, that would signify the possiblity of an infection to me. To be honest, I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to eyes! |
