To attack an OP for a choice by her husband's, that is completely unrelated to the topic is just lacking in taste and sense.
Of course your opinion is valid. But I really don't think this is the thread or even the forum to argue it. This is a dog lover's community. Out of tens of thousands of members here, I'd bet my right arm most eat meat. To say it doesn't make sense or even implying it's not possible to "love" animals yet still eat meat is just ridiculous. I think you need to open up your eyes and learn about the world a bit more.
You're vegan, good for you. You feed your dogs vegetarian food, your dog, your choice. Our life, our way of eating, our business. Different strokes for different people. You want people to be open minded about your views yet you are not doing the same to others. Who spoke of karma just now?
