All animal slaughter is cruel and needless. There is no such thing as painless killing. But to hunt for pleasure and sport is the worse kind of sadism. To get joy from killing an innocent sentient being ,well that person has to be sick.
I truly believe in Karma (what goes around comes around) and I hope that comes true for the hunters here mentioned.

well, i think unfortunately it's human nature to be spiciest.
but i also think that sometimes you have to choose your battles. what you think? if people are not welcoming your ideas, then you move on and you talk to another group about it.
you simply 'agree to disagree' like someone keep saying here
and you move on with life...i know it's hard, because you wish everyone can see what you see, but they can't.
don't be discouraged, there are a lot of people out there who agree with your views, and in order to try to get more people to see things the way you do, you have to relax more and not be so defensive.
i, for one, agree with your views on animal treatment.
