I have had him for 10 days now, and like the girl said before I know this will not happen overnight, but I think he has only went on the pad maybe a total of 5 or 6 times, and only peeing. I really don't want to have him going in the house at all even if it is on a pad, but I would like an emergency place that he could go potty if he absolulely has too. I also was wondering about confining him to a certain space. I was thinking about trying to crate train, but he cries bloody murder when I leave the room or put him in the spare room. I am just really confused. I am really happy that he is going outside, but know that he is unable to hold it all day while my husband and I are at work.
Any Help or Suggestions is Welcome!!!!!

And I wanted to let you all I am praising praising praising him for going outside!!!!YEAH!
First of all Welcome to YT. We will love to see pics of little Toby when you can. If you have any question feel free to ask, i know someone will have the answer.
Second, potty training: Toby is still young so is going to take some time for him to get the potty training. There are two words that are very important , Consistency and Patience. If you want him to use the pad, you need to show him where it is and tell him potty. If you see him like is going to go take him to the pad and praise him when he goes. When you take him outside you need to do the same, tell him to go potty and praise when he goes. If he has an accident and you see him take him rite away to the pad or outside and tell him go potty and dont forget to praise him. I only pad train Gucci, she is 1 yr old. When I take her for walks and she goes I praise her. She still uses her pads and sometimes has accidents but is my fault for not changing the pad when soiled. Is funny cause she will go next to the pad.
