I have to say, I am so impressed with Ella Bean - her personality, looks and temperament. I hope that some responsible breeders start 'mixing' these breeds, especially in light of all of the genetic flaws purebreds have.
I also LOVE purebreds and totally respect the hard work and dedication of those responsible breeders who work for the betterment of the breed.
While a 2 1/2 pound dog like Ella Bean is super teeny, I find her so easy to care for. I really hope that RESPONSIBLE breeders start mixing, breeding for health and temperament as well as size and looks...
