Hi, I have the same problem with my little Zoe. She turned a year in September and she still has her two baby fangs on the top in back of the adult pair. The vet says it was fine for her to wait till she was a year as yorkies sometimes have problems loosing teeth, (she lost another baby tooth about a month ago). But she has to get them removed soon or else it will cause infections as food gets trapped under the gum line because the gum line isn't totally sealed with both teeth in there.
It happens with a lot of yorkies, nothing to get too worried about. Let your vet take a look at her and he/she will be able to decide whether you should wait or remove the teeth now.
Hope this helps. |
