Got samples of Hill's science diet after teeth appts. and I've been giving them as treats. They are huge round balls and when Lyta got hers she took it up onto the sofa to munch in peace. Well, she dropped it and it hit the floor and rolled under the cedar chest (which I have in front of the sofa like a coffee table). She immediately jumped down and didn't even pause to look where it hit the floor, but when running around the other side of the chest to catch it coming out from under the other side. I know it's a silly little thing, but that is deductive reasoning at work and I was impressed. It's amazing how focused they get when a treat is involved. |
