Lol, that's funny, and he is a dear, you can easily move the pee pad further from the chair by doing a couple of things. First, make sure there is no urine residue left in the carpet, most cleaners will not touch the protein, and it takes an enzyme cleaner to remove all protein which cases them to return to the spot. Nature's Miracle is one brand, and you need to thoroughly saturate the area and allow to air dry. If you have a black light it will show you protein spots, they glow ultra white. Next you just move the pee pad a little each day until she gets use to the new spot. Always clean mistakes with the enzyme cleaner.
