I know with your love, a good medical team, and most importantly the help of the Great Healer, John's diagnosis will come soon so that an aggressive treatment plan can be established. I am so very sorry to hear about Gizmo's bad grooming experience. It is so scary - with all of the product recalls, it's hard to have confidence even in someone who is a "regular" part of your baby's health/grooming care.
And the wedding... I know that the proud mom and dad are very busy doing all they can to assure the happy couple gets off to the best possible start. I can't wait for the wedding pics.
