The idea of breeding them once before spaying is an old myth. If you want to keep her as playful and young hearted as possible, then I would suggest not breeding her. In fact she should have been spayed before her first heat.

Once they have had a litter and have nursed puppies their nibbles are developed and more prominant. And their vulva is more developed and prominant. So unless you have researched and know what all is involved in breeding it's really better to just spay her and keep your little girl a little girl.
