My vet told me the opposite. He said it is better to get them done relatively soon after they come out of heat while they are still young??? Now, I am confused! Daisy came into heat on October 18 and we have hear spay scheduled for Nov. 20. I am taking her Tuesday next week for her pre-op blood work, so maybe I can talk the vet then.
