Tricia, I so hope you will find a mentor and work with that person for a long time before deciding to put 2 dogs together to make puppies. Buying another puppy and waiting to learn all you can about breeding is a very good idea.
And, Carrie, a responsible breeder will always have the other household members and dogs come to their home for an interview. I cannot imagine placing a puppy without doing that so it sounds as if you have found a responsible person. And, heaven help that poor Golden. These Yorkies have their numbers..LOL You will be amazed how quickly they will sort out the leader and I can almost guarantee that it will NOT be the big dog!!! I love the temperment these Yorkies have..
