I am sorry to hear that Katie is having problems. I just retired a BIRO girl since I have stopped breeding but she never had milk for 2 litters so I hand-raised them. I also used Esbilac with small amt of Karo added. And, a smidgen of BeneBac every day. The puppies thrived and grew pretty rapidly on that. Weighing AM and PM was essential...You have to monitor their poo and pee and make sure there is NO constipation. That can take a puppy down very quickly.
I gave my mom every liquid I could think of plus pro-biotics. I also kept canned chicken broth down for her and she drank that well but she just could not produce milk.
