However, I've read often that a cotton coat mats easily and I've had yet to encounter one on Isla (knock on wood). She's worn sweaters, wrestled with other dogs, rolled in the grass, etc. Since she hasn't matted yet I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on that-or what type of coat maybe she has?
My Yorkie has a great coat according to her groomer, she doesn't mat. The groomer says the Yorkies with cotton coats mat pretty badly.
