I bought one for my 16 year old son. He loves them during the first year of life, esp. when they are puppies.
I told him it was his chick magnet. I asked a few girls if they would come up to him and say oh what a cute dog and ask to pet it. They said they would esp. if the guy was interesting enough to take a second look.
I asked girls 13-15 years old they told me that was lame and the guy trying it would be considered a nerd.
I laughed and didn't tell my son. Thank goodness he likes the girls his age or a little older.
