After 6 pm I think he needs to go out more often, so I've started taking him out every hour and the last 2 days have been sucessful and watching him more closer is helping. Tonight I was so excited because every night around 8-8:30 he's going to poop and I've been missing it every time. I was reading last night and he walked on the other side of my husband and did it on the floor. ugh.... I took my eyes of him for 1 min. but tonight I watched his every move and asked him did he have to go outside. well he hesitated a little and then walked slowly to the door. we went out and he pooped. I think you just have to watch every move at night unless you put them in their room with the pee pad. hope this helps some.
I forgot to tell you that at 10 every night he goes in his crate which is in my daughters room that he stays in .(that's the room I'm talking about that he has to himself with all of his stuff) He's getting alot better at holding it from 10 at night til at least 6 in the morning. we've put him in that crate at night ever since we brought him home and he does good with it. You do have to be patient and watch them. I have learned the more you watch them, the more you pick up signs that they have to go out. now Tyke is starting to bark at me and I say outside he starts walking to the door. But he didn't do it before. he's getting alot better each day. good luck to you.
