If I'm not in the same room that I have him crated in, he gets stressed and starts to cry, so since my carrier is so small, I cart him around the house with me so he can see me and it's like we're hanging out. He seems to be just fine and naps most of the time. He has toys and I give him a little treat when he's being good in his carrier. As I said, he gets stressed when he's not with me, so I try to make sure that he can see me all the time! Hope that helps.
