My Mo was neutered when he was 3 yos--right after I got him. His wt was 4.6 and that was 2 years ago. He has gained one pound since being neutered. I would imagine when they are neutered younger some of the gain would be normal growth. Mo was obviously done growing at that point. I know they do tend to gain some though.
