My guys sure did.....the vet told me to expect it and to beware that they will eat more but to be careful to not let them gain too much weight. He said when you remove these hormone producers (ovaries and testicles) there is a change in their body due to a lack of those hormones being produced and they tend to gain some weight because of the change. So it's to be expected but you shouldn't let it get too out of hand.
Shoot when I had my tubes tied I gained a few pounds ;0)
