What I would do, is get this stuff called Bitter Apple Spray, and spray it all over the pad. That will detour him from chewing it up. A couple of times Coco has chewed it up because of probably just boredom and I sprayed some bitter apple on it and she hasn't done it since. Good luck and POST PICTURES!
