Confused Going Potty in the Muddy Rain with a Full Coat... HELP Keep Her Clean & Itch Free!

We need help finding a solution for our 5 years old Beanie Baby, Lola. She's a sweet soul and we want her to stay that way.

The Winter has just started here in California and Lola and I need help finding something to keep her clean, dry, itch free and most of all make her life easier. She is a retired Show Dog in a Medium Length Coat and hates to use Potty Pads. I don't mind taking her outside, but we need to keep her from touching them. She's very allergic to all most everything. I need something to accommodate her needs. This is why she is no longer a Show Dog. She's So High Maintenance But We Love Her.

I've been cutting the fingers & Thumbs off of Surgical Gloves and putting the Thumbs on her front feet (their bigger) and the fingers on her back feet. Then I hold them up with her Top Knot bands. This takes us way to much time every time she needs to go out. I'm worried that if we don't find something fast, She's going to have resentments towards me and we don't want that.

Here's Our List of Good and Bad:

> One good thing is... she will wear what ever I put on her. And we will try anything.

> She has allergies to the grass, leaves, weeds, and some things we don't know about yet.

> I don't want to cut off her beautiful coat, because it keeps a lot of stuff from touching her sensitive skin. I also, don't want to keep her in Hair Wraps anymore. She's done it long enough. Now she wants to be a dog and we are going to do what ever we can, to let her.

> I'm keeping her coat trimmed at a medium length as you can see in the photo below. I'm looking for any suggestions that will make her life joyful.

> She wont use a potty pad.

> She will only potty on the dirt or the cement.

> We can't use a portable or synthetic grass. She's allergic to this too!

> We have an enclosed balcony with a doggy door.

> It needs to be something that is fast.

> And most of all... it has to make her happy.

I did find one product online called, The Pawz Dog Boots. This product is similar to balloons but they only cover up her toes and they are not very cheep. You get 4 sets for $12 - $15. I tried to buy balloon but the openings are way to small to get her legs into them. It's very similar to what we are doing with the Surgical Gloves but neither one of them are long enough to cover her upper legs. To bad they don't make fishing waders for Yorkies.

Has anyone used this product before? Here is their site: PAWZ the world's only disposable and reusable, waterproof dog boot

We appreciate all the help we can get with our problem.

Thanks All,
Diana & Lola
