Hi Brenda,
My hubby is an avid bow hunter. So...trust me...I have tried everything to kill the "wild' or "gamie' taste of the venison. Nothing...I repeat...nothing...has worked for me. I personally can't even get passed the smell of venison cooking. Yuck!!!
If you want a much better alternative? Try buffalo meat. It taste's great and is very low in fat and cholesterol. I will never go back to beef after having the buffalo.
