Good to know! Thanks!!! And, after reading what the FDA has to say, I feel SLIGHTLY better about it (eeeeevvvver so slightly, that is). I will be asking for a Client Information Sheet and a package insert, and watch her closely for side effects. I'm so glad I will be home the first couple of days after so I can watch her very closely!! She is having pre-surgical blood work done, though we can't do the bile acid test
the same day as surgery. That makes me feel a tiny bit better, but I know that THAT blood work won't necessarily tell me if she has any liver problems.
The worst part is, one of the things I'm supposed to look for is change in appetite (e.g. loss or even increase), but that will be hard to tell for her since she's so sporadic with eating anyway.....eats a lot one day, then nearly nothing the next, then an average amount the next!
