I just found out that Bella will be sent home tomorrow (after her spay, extractions, etc... surgery) with Oral Rimadyl. (She will also be given a Rimadyl injection tomorrow while she's still there, and they premedicate with Bupernex (sp??).)

I've heard soooo many bad things about Rimadyl, but I'm wondering if the bad things were just with dogs using them long term?? Is it ok for her to take this for a couple of days are so post-surgically?

What the heck is Bupernex? (She said it was a narcotic...) And is it safe???
