 Oscar
Unfortunately our almost 10 year old Oscar is very sick again.
He has now had a second bout of severe vomiting.
The first time we were able to rush him to the vet and he was given anti nausea medication as well as fluid injections and he was better in a few days.
This time his vomit was filled with bloodamd mucus.
He also was having blood in his stool (diarrhea)at the emergency clinic.
He is presently on fluids and has not had any vomit or diarrhea since yesterday early afternoon.
The vet has now said that this was probably caused by the Prednisone he was on for his Lymphantasia.
He is going to start him on some solid foods today and try a different medication for his Lymphantasia.
WE are very disappointed that the Prednisone did not work and would do anything to help our Oscar, so if anybody can provide us with any type of anternative that they have encountered please let me know.
