I'm so saddened to hear how many have had their yorkies or other small breeds attacked - even killed - by larger dogs. A good friend of mine has two rottweilers and both are very gentle dogs...however, both are muzzled when taken for walks and have been since they were young.....my friends theory is that nobody can KNOW for sure 100% how a dog will always react and he knows that dogs as large and powerful as his could easily harm a smaller dog, or child for that matter, and he isnt willing to take the risk. xx |
