I have never heard of ice cubes for teething. I have used rope toys, bully sticks and rib bones. But, sometimes those stubborn baby teeth will not come out on their own and will have to be removed by the vet. The longest I leave them in is 1 year max then they are pulled. I usually have them pulled at the same time I have them spayed or neutered. My vet only charges about 20 extra dollars for that procedure if it is done at the same time as another surgery.
