Your other dogs should be treated as a precaution. Giardia can be very difficult to get rid of. Everything he has come in contact with needs to be disinfected. If he potties outside, wash his feet, belly and hind end every single time before he comes back inside (baby wipes are great for this). The giardia spores are contained within the fecal matter and can easily be spread, so picking up his poop and properly disposing of it can aid in not continuing to contaminate.
Giardia is a very common parasite that may never truly go away. It just becomes dormant. Any stressor can bring it quickly back.
