I would think that waiver of responsibility was for a particular procedure on a particular dog - not any animal the family brings in. I'd sure check into that! I had to sign one for Sabrina's spaying - but that was for NORMAL things that could go wrong.

So sorry about the puppy! I don't think it's YOUR fault at all. Things happen to our little guys especially as puppies when they don't have their immune system, etc, and all those shots and stuff and adjusting to life in general. I hope your friend understands that. Best of luck.
