It's almost a year since I lost my Sissy. She was in her own backyard on squirrel patrol when a large lab mix jumped the fence and attacked and killed her. Not only did this lab kill Sissy, but seriously mauled my Biewer, Bella. Because I rushed Bella to an excellent emergency hospital, they were able to put her back together and she is just fine now. However, she is very nervous around other dogs and will snap at them. It is against the law for dogs to be off leash or running around the neighborhood, but that didn't stop this tragedy from happening. It seems just like yesterday, and my heart still breaks when I think of my precious little girl. And, a few months later, her son Tobey, was killed by a large Rottie, when he ran over to say "hi." Tobey's parents were heartbroken, but Tobey and Sissy are playing together over the Rainbow Bridge.
