Yep
Miko was neutered and had surgery for stone removal after being diagnosed with liver problems. Use Isoflourane and no injectables...Be very, very careful with pain meds...Those could cause more problems. Miko had a severe reaction to rimadyl which he was given after a surgery once.
If your baby is not already on milk thistle, now is a good time to start so that you can protect his liver from any damage the anesthesia may cause and to help detoxify...
You should be giving maximum liver support, especially now if he will be having surgery. If you give lactulose, you will need to increase the dosages after surgery so that your baby has a bowel movement and does not become constipated and backed up with toxins...
