All the tips so far are spot on! One I have is get a Tell Bell. It is the best thing I did as far as housebreaking Lucky is concerned. He is 16 weeks and rings the bell EVERY time he wants to go out. Actually, my brother's 2 year old beagle will lay with the bell between her paws, but refuse to ring it. She stares at him until he rings it for her!! He still attempts to potty, even when he rings it for her because he has been taught to go when we say, "Go potty." |
