Many years ago I heard about feeding treats of pineapple to stop corporaphagia but forgot all about it. I tried everything on my last BIRO/Biewer puppy that I am keeping as a pet. I have been giving all of my critters small chunks of pineapple twice a day for a week. Hana has not touched poo for the past 6 days. It is worth a try and is simple, non-chemical and always on hand to use as a reminder if needed..
Some experts say that adding probiotics to their diet will aid in digesting all the nutrients and the stool will not be inviting to the eater, BUT most people I know say that didn't help. |
