So sorry to hear about your baby. Has anyone suggested Accupuncture or therapeutic massage or hydrotherapy? Handicap ramps to help her get on and off things might help. No jumping or running at all but slow short walks certainly should be encouraged to keep her mobile and proper weight..
I have no idea about the size and weight of your baby but if she is the LEAST bit overweight, reducing might give relief, too.
Lying and sleeping on a warm pad could give comfort and the vet might inject steroids into the joints if the pain and mobility gets to be more of a problem..
