When I first got Tucker he was given to me by someone who hadn't taken good care of him and he reeked. No matter what he smelled. I found out that he had urine soaked into the last 2-3 inches of his hair that wouldn't come out no matter how many baths I gave him. I gave him a trim and he instantly smelled better. I also think that the food does have something to do with his odor. Get him on a better quality food like Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul, Canidae, Nature's Variety, or Solid Gold. Purina is a really awful food and you'd do yourself and your puppy a favor by giving him something more nutricious. Good luck with everything!
