Georgia, I too believe in the power of pray. Michelle says over and over again that she would have never made it through all this without all the prayers of the church, her family and yorkie friends. One should never give up praying. It is wonderful that God answered your prayers and you finally found your son.
I had a wonderful visit with Michelle on Sunday. She is having a hard time with her IV line, she says she feels like a pin cushion, so today they were supposed to put a pic line in her neck but so far it has not been done. Michelle still has a big knot on the back of her head that the doctors are a little concerned about. The doctors are not in agreement as to if Michelle can go home in a few days or not. This morning one of the doctors told Michelle they will send her home in a few days with the iv fluids but this afternoon the surgeon said he was still concerned about the knot on her head and he was not wanting to send her home so soon. It looks like she will be on the iv antibiotics for a couple more weeks. Michelle was in good spirits today. She is still having some pain but nothing like she has experienced before. Yesterday she had gone for a walk and when she came back to her room and pulled the curtain back she caught a lady from the cafeteria red handed going through her purse that was in the closet. Needless to say, Michelle reported her. It is so sad that people do things like that.
I want to thank all of you for your continued prayers and well wishes. May God bless all of you for your kindness. |
