She needs to go to petsmart and buy a can of Esbilac goat milk for puppies. about 7 bucs a can. feed every 2 hours about one half cc of warm milk. Tell her the feeding should be done slowly may take 10 min to feed. After a few days the pup will start to really suckle. I like a medicine syring better that the bottles. Those nipple are just too big. even the tiny ones....Good luck. And also tell her the mom should be taken care of just like a new human mom....Bath her and give her some good chicken broth. and a little cottage cheese. If her tets are large and hard she needs to put a warm wash cloth on them and message gentle. This will stimulate the milk so she wont get ingorged.... |
