Calling someone out for misspelling a word alienates a significant piece of the YT community. I say this as someone who respects different points of view and has been learning from this thread. Commas are not periods. Ellipsis are not periods. Periods delineate sentences. Sentences convey information and can be joined together to form beautiful paragraphs. And yet, you seem to fear the period. They appear so rarely in your posts. Why is that?
Please note: a period appears in isolation. Two or more dots strung together are not not a period.. <-- In writing, a row of dots in succession (usually 3, but can be any number >1) are ellipsis. Not fun, is it? |
Doesn't bother me at all. I love spelling! There, one period.
