Michelle continues to slowly improve. The doctors had removed the tube from her back and she was leaking spinal fluid from the hole so yesterday they stitched up the hole using nothing to deaden it. Michelle said that was quite painful. Michelle said her head and neck are feeling better but she feels very nauseous. She thinks it is from all the morphine and antibiotics. We are still praying the infection does not come back. The doctors did another culture after the surgery and so far it is looking good, no signs of infection. They moved Michelle to a different floor and now she has a bed by a window overlooking the Houston zoo so she is happy about that. My youngest daughter and I are going to visit Michelle tomorrow.
