I've never had a Bichon...but from what I've heard they have great temperments!!
And I think it's absolutely wonderful of you to look at rescuing...instead of adopting a baby!!! You should take Remy over so you can see how they interact!!
IF they get along WONDERFULLY...then you'll know!!
