Cooper Stopped marking after his neutering and he was 8 months old. He was awful before. I had belly bands on him all the time. Now he is better. Sometimes he lifts his leg outside and sometimes he doesn't so it is hard to tell if he goes. He has a funny little "stance" that he takes on that he uses to go. Not a squat. he like stretches out or something kind of funny.
Anyway. Don't be discouraged. they are all different.
