My comment was in no way negative. I just think maybe there should be awareness as to how selective we should be when selling/rehoming our pups.
ok, i am sorry you felt attacked by my remarks, i am sure you are a loving person. (i mean, you do love yorkies afterall) i received a PM which is saying to me something pretty similar to what you are saying, so i am just going to copy and paste my response.

"i agree with you 100% that everyone has the right to write their opinions. and if that is what you believe, you should keep writing about it. but i think you are writing in the wrong thread, if you are trying to 'educate' people about metal illness, which is great and fine, it should be a separate posting with a link to it, so that people do not have to read it if they don't want to.

in my opinion, it's rather insensitive to write it in a thread where people are trying to deal with the shock, the anger, and the grief, for this little one.

i think what i am saying is fair because to be 100% honest, i would not even be this 'open-minded' about it if it were my dog. if it were my dog, i would tear you a new a**hole for saying what you said.

i applaud you for posting what you believe. i think that you should try to think about why people are so upset and saying the things they are saying.

you can talk to people about mental illness awareness, that would be great if you can educate the public on an issue that people don't know about. but you should respect peoples emotions, and give them room and time to grieve."

it's strange that you should suddenly be in pursuit of raising mental illness awareness? what have you done before this to raise awareness to mental illness? not to say that you can't start now, and you probably should since you feel strongly about it. you should do something to contribute to raise mental illness awareness. but there is the right place and time for everything. suddenly feeling the need to educate people about metal illness right now seems insensitive to me.
