Sadie has been sleeping with me in bed since she was six months old. I just love having her there with me - and we both sleep a LOT better cuddled up together.
When I get up in the night to go to the bathroom myself, I put her down and she runs to her pee pad and does her business and then it's back to bed we go.
I think it's just a matter of personal preference.
