 Yorkie Coats
This is the main reason I was checking out this site. I have two yorkies which are AKC registered. My boy is a year old and has a beautiful silky coat with beautiful blues in it. My girl is 8 months old. I take my babies to the groomer every two to three weeks. A few months ago when I took my baby girl into the groomer the groomer made a remark that "she is a weird little thing". She said that her hair was all wrong for a yorkie and that she would never show her or breed her with her hair being that way. I paid alot of money for her and she has ten champions in her pedigree. Of course I was upset and haven't taken her back there. Her hair is thicker then Dashes and feels a little wirey. Not sure but am wondering what I should do? I respect her opinion but it sounds like alot of yorkies have this type of hair? New to yorkies.. Is the thicker hair wrong or bad? |
