I have a 7 year old doxie from a breeder- she has been wonderful. Then we got a mini doxie, Ollie from a pet store, and he is the smartest dog, never been sick, and did really well ( this is a known pet store, and the vet i used to work for would vaccinate these puppies as they would come in, and if they were sick, we would take care of them)
Fiona, is from a breeder across the street from me, and she has been awesome thus far!
I guess it really depends on how they were brought up in that fragile puppy time, and giving away......
