I would find a different vet, first. A skin scraping needs to be done asap. Also, what are you feeding, exactly.
Then, go to the very bottom of this page until you see the bar for a google search, and search just THIS website for PYODERMA - see if your baby's symptoms sound like that. I'm so sorry he is going through this, it sounds miserable.
