lol Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, that stuff doesn't work for him. lol He has a cast iron heart. I love him to death though. I know in a few months i'll have a golden. It'll just take a litle time.

Well, the good news is that older goldens tend to take a long time to adopt out, so you have a while to grate on (was it dh or bf?) and get your way! How could he actually say no to that face?!?!?! DONT GIVE UP!

Just do what I do- talk about her for a couple days- make sure you judge his reactions and don't let it get to the point where he shuts down about it. Then, after a couple days of him saying no, you need to say (in a small, sad voice) "I know you're right.. it's just that the look on her face breaks my heart, and we could give her such a good home." Stay sad and give him a big hug and then just be quiet for the rest of the afternoon. Pretty soon he'll say "if you really want her than you can get her." Worked for me just last Sunday- Ryder is coming home Thursday!!!! <Good luck!>
