I got Max from a Pet store. I looked for a very long time and I was unable to find a breeder or a rescue that would adopt to me because I have Greyhounds. They did not think that I knew my dogs well enough to understand if they had a high prey drive and would hurt the "tiny" dog.

I got Max when he was 6 months old...and I don't think that I could have found a better dog that fit the wants and needs that I had. He is a very healthy 4# and gets along well with ALL the dogs here.

I am not one to say always get from a pet store, but they do serve a need.

I have even tried to adopt from someone on here recently and was again turned down because of the Greys.

So you do what you are comfortable with. And GOOD LUCK!!
